Your situation

For the end date, use the first day on which you are no longer employed. Include relevant contracts with a possible successor employer. This model accepts contracts starting on or after 1 January 2020; earlier periods require review of the transitional rules.

What this tool includes and excludes

Sources and calculation rules

  • Contract periods do not include the entered first day out of service. Enter complete, non-overlapping periods; the tool does not assess whether employers are legal successors.
  • The calendar view uses the last chain. A previously established permanent contract does not disappear automatically due to a new temporary agreement: also have previous signals assessed.
  • Cao, temporary recurring work, temporary work, BBL and age may differ. No prediction about future legislation.

Frequently asked questions

Does a contract through a temporary employment agency count?

Sometimes, for example in case of successive employership. Broadcast rules and cao can influence the outcome. Add the period and have the legal consistency checked.

Has the new three-year break already been used?

No. The worksheet uses the main rule applicable on the audit date with six months. An adopted legislative change does not automatically apply to every contract.
