Your situation

This formula is intended for employment ending on or after 1 January 2020. The last day of employment is included; earlier legislation is not calculated.

Including holiday allowance, fixed end-of-year bonus and relevant average allowances. Do not enter net salary.

Optional: total eligible salary since your last service anniversary. Enter 0 if there is no remaining period. Without this amount, the tool provides a time-proportional estimate.

What this tool includes and excludes

Sources and calculation rules

  • For continuous employment with one stated monthly salary. Previous contracts, interruptions and subsequent employment are not automatically reconstructed.
  • The last day of employment is included. The annual cap has only been verified for employment ending in 2026.
  • In a settlement agreement, compensation must be agreed; the calculation amount does not automatically arise as a payment right.

Frequently asked questions

Why does the tool ask for wages for the remaining period?

The statutory formula uses the gross wages earned in that remaining part for part of a year of service. If hours or allowances vary, a calculation using only a monthly wage is less precise.

Is dit mijn netto uitbetaling?

No. The result is gross. Taxes, deductions and any settlement are excluded from this worksheet.
