Who is responsible?
Arbeidsrecht in Nederland is part of the ten legal websites under the trade name jurismedia.nl of Van der Spoel Development. The business form is a sole proprietorship. Chamber of Commerce number: 89615395. You can reach us via redactie@jurismedia.nl.
This concept statement concerns the information platform Arbeidsrecht in Nederland. Processing depends on the function you use. An individual service may require additional privacy information; it should be available with that service.
Which data is processed for which function?
- Website visit: technical data for providing and securing the website, such as the requested address and network and browser information.
- E-mail and complaints: your e-mail address, the content of the message and the data necessary to handle your question, complaint or correction.
- Callback or assistance request: name, e-mail address, telephone number, zip code, subject, brief explanation, urgent indication and the recorded confirmation or permission, depending on the form.
- Statistics: After choosing statistics, page and usage data can be processed with Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity.
Which information is required is stated for the relevant function. Without the data required for a request, that function cannot be performed. You don't need an account for public explanations.
What do we use the data for?
The purposes are to provide and secure the website, respond to messages, process a contact request you have requested and improve the website with permitted measurements.
For permission-dependent statistics and sharing a help request, the appropriate choice is requested. For other processing, there must be an appropriate basis, for example the necessary performance of a requested service, a legal obligation or a substantiated legitimate interest in security and communication. The concrete bases and considerations of interests must correspond to the function actually used; that check is part of establishing this draft statement.
A general check mark is not unlimited permission. A request for assistance may contain special or other sensitive data, for which additional rules apply. Therefore, do not share confidential documents about employment law, BSN, identity card or unnecessary data from others in a general form.
This area of law may involve personnel files, payroll information and medical data. Do not send such documents unsolicited via a general form or e-mail.
Who can receive data?
Authorized employees can process data for their job. In the event of a contact request, the necessary data can be shared with an appropriate lawyer in accordance with the explanation and permission for that position. That lawyer is responsible for his own services and the associated processing.
Technical providers can process data for hosting, security, email and an enabled calling service. The website contains links to Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity for post-consent statistics. The actual suppliers, roles and data flows per function must be fully checked before adoption.
Any processing outside the European Economic Area, processing agreements and transfer guarantees are also part of this check. This draft statement is not a confirmation that the supplier check has already been completed. The advertiser of a placement is not automatically the recipient of a request for help simply because of that mention.
How long is data kept?
Data should not be kept longer than is necessary for the purpose, except where an applicable legal obligation or necessary handling of a dispute requires longer retention. For general messages, contact requests and technical logs, the specific retention periods and actual deletion have yet to be determined and checked.
An access session expiring is not the same as deleting a saved contact request. The statistics privacy choice is considered valid in the browser for 180 days. More about browser storage can be found in the Cookies and privacy choices.
What rights do you have and how do you make a request?
You can ask us for access, correction, deletion or restriction of processing. Depending on the situation, you can object or request data transfer. You can withdraw consent; this does not make previous lawful processing unlawful retroactively.
Mail your request to redactie@jurismedia.nl. Describe which website and processing it concerns. Do not immediately send a copy of your ID. If additional verification is required, it must be appropriate to the request.
In principle, we must respond within one month. In the case of a statutory extension, it must be explained within that first month why more time is needed. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority. The AP explains the treatment of privacy rights.
Statistics, AI and external websites
You can adjust your choice for statistics via the Privacy choice button. The public information remains available if you refuse statistics. Read the Cookies and privacy choices for storage and settings.
An AI assistant does not provide a binding decision about your case or right to assistance. More about the deployment and limitations can be found at AI usage and translations. When you access an external website, that provider has its own privacy policy.
