Are you dissatisfied with our information or the way something on the website works? Let us know what is going on and what solution you expect.

Text version

How do you report a complaint?

Email to redactie@jurismedia.nl. Please state in the subject that it is a complaint. You can also compose an email directly.

Preferably provide this information:

  • The name of the website and the link to the relevant page.
  • What you think went wrong and when you noticed it.
  • Which previous response or action is relevant, if any.
  • Which solution or explanation you would like to receive.
  • An email address where we can respond to you.

A screenshot may help to show a technical problem. Make unnecessary personal data illegible and do not send a complete file or copy of an identity document.

How do we handle your report?

  1. We will look at what your complaint is about. If something is unclear, we will ask for the information necessary to understand the message.
  2. We are investigating the page or method involved. A substantive report also includes the sources used and the text version involved in that investigation.
  3. We will respond. We explain what we have determined and which correction, next step or other outcome is appropriate. If more time is needed, we will let you know.

A notification does not automatically lead to a change or deletion. It must be clear why we arrive at a certain outcome. There is currently no separate independent complaints committee listed for this platform.

What can you complain about?

For example about incorrect or unclear information, an unclear advertisement, accessibility problems, a technical defect or the handling of a message. A simple correction may also be reported directly via Editorial policies and corrections.

A complaint about the services of your own lawyer belongs to the office involved. We cannot decide on behalf of that office. If your complaint concerns our own presentation of that provider or the route via our platform, you can report it to us.

Is your complaint about personal data?

Please indicate that your message is also a privacy complaint or privacy request. Read on Privacy Statement how you can request access, correction or deletion. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

A complaint with us does not replace an objection, appeal or other action in a legal matter. Therefore, have a current legal term checked separately.
